Biography

Sue Hayward started her broadcasting career reporting for BBC ‘Financial World Tonight’ and ‘Moneybox’ and now commentates on a range of personal finance, business, property and consumer issues on both TV and Radio.

Sue enjoys a chat and where better to indulge that passion than Radio! Sue’s guest presented everything from live consumer phone in programmes on BBC 3CR and BBC Northampton to breakfast shows and late night chat shows.

With her friendly approach and ability to cut through financial jargon, Sue is frequently asked to comment on topical money issues on ‘BBC Breakfast and News’, ‘Sky News’, ‘Working Lunch’, ‘Rip Off Britain’ and Radio 2 with Steve Wright and Jeremy Vine as well as BBC London with Vanessa Feltz, and numerous regional radio stations.

As a Financial and Consumer Journalist, Sue’s contributed to national papers including the Sunday Times, Observer, Daily Express, Sunday Express and the Independent on Sunday.

Sue has a chatty and practical writing style and has been a money columnist for magazines including ‘Bella’, ‘She’, ‘Woman’s Weekly’ and a regular column for ‘My Weekly’, as well as writing features for other glossy magazines including ‘Woman & Home’, ‘Best’, ‘Woman’, ‘Prima’ and ‘Essentials. Online’. Sue has also written for ‘lovemoney.com’, ‘virginmedia.com’ and ‘confused.com.’

As a working Mum, family finance is high on Sue’s agenda and she’s written for parenting magazines and websites including ‘Prima Baby’, ‘Practical Parenting’, ‘Rightstart’ and ‘AOL Parentdish.’

Sue’s also written two books; ‘Women Leading’ and ‘How To Get The Best Deal’.
